I AM BACK !!!!!! LoL, I guessed no one sees this post, except Yida who always visit my blog sometimes, hahaha... cos everyone has given up on my blog le, thinking that it had supposedly been dead... Well, hope everyone can give my blog a chance, visit my blog again, cos I will be blogging more often from next year, in fact, I even make an effort to change my blogskin! hahaha... A new Beginning!! =X

Well, here to kickstart something before advancing into the new year in 3 more days... hahaha... This year is especially fast for me, well... I mean before September when I get enlisted into NS =( Haha, it has been a memorable year for me.

I got my first taste of relationship since February, and still tasting it now =) It is really not easy to have a relationship... Accomodation is really essential and as a guy, it is natural we have to give in more to the ladies. What's more, I am dealing wif another opposite sex which I did not get so close to last time. And girls definitely behave differently from guys, this is true. Haha... I really learnt alot in this relationship. Most importantly, mutual understanding, trust, acommodation and feelings for each other must be there =)

Then comes my enlistment day in September, the day I bidded goodbye to my hair and the next two years earning pathetic salary... I understand it is all about protecting the country and shouldn't been grumbling about it since every guys gotta do it in Singapore... Well, I really hated NS in the first few weeks, but the hatred just weakened over times... Perhaps NS is not all about 2 years of boredom, I have met alot of friends than I do in my 3 years of poly in just 3 months plus, haha...My army life was quite different from my fellow peers and somehow, I should be the busiest recruit in these 3 months...

This is how my army life goes, 1 month in Tekong and I got OOT (Out-Of-Training), thanks to my skin condition which worsens in the extra hot weather of Tekong, I was posted to Selarang Camp as a driver vocation on the following Monday and it was at Changi, oh my god !!! From one end to the other, it can prove deadly... Luckily on the first day there, they told me it was a posting error, woooo~!!! and off they post me to Jurong Camp the next day, where it was just walking distance away from my house, LoL!! But I was just there for 2 days, and they posted me to Stagmont Camp, where I stay for good for 2 months, and I admit I had some really some of the best times in army there, but my skin condition which is already healing worsens when I slept in the bunk there... So they sent me to MMI (Military Medicine Institute) and after two check-ups, I was down-PES from B to C9L9 and because of this, my vocation changed to become a clerk and so does my camp, I am re-posted to Gloucester Camp where the HQ Transport resides and here is where I am now. Finally, I don't need to move around hopefully and the S1 wants me over here, so I will be under her. And so, this is how I managed to meet so many new people in these 3 months... hahaha...

Well, these are the major two events that have happened in this year. I hope the new year will a better one for everyone, especially with the financial crisis still in place, I wish everyone stability and healthy next year and may love be with everyone~ =) Happy 2009!!! (counting down...hahaha)

FDAWU, heard before?? Haha...this is where I am situated now... to be precise, working, haha... Just been allocated from the two weeks training at National Trades Union Congress (short term is NTUC, LoL !) at Raffles Place... Well, let me first describe the two weeks of 'hellacious' training. Well, it's not the workload or people I met that are torturing me... Yet, time is responsible for this 'hellacious' term. Was told that I was needed immediately in the interview and I understand from my supervisor that the things I will be touching on will be mainly dealing with their old and new systems. Everything sounds alright, the place, the pay, the working hrs and days, the short working period (all thanks to NS -_-) and most importantly, ... ..... ...... .... (Lips are tight, Guess it right, If You're bright =D) Been through of 8 and a half hours of doing nothing and getting surrounded by a bunch of bees... I mean busy colleagues, haha...

However, at work, conflicts tend to occur and there are bound to be people that irks U or U just dun get along with them... Just wanna say I have met this kind of person. Dun wanna say her name or say what have she done though, as I dun b*t*h behind people de... in a sentence, all her actions just pissed me off... I will just tolerate, giving her all due respect as she has been around longer than I do. Think on the good side, meeting this kind of people really prepares me for any more drastic and worse situations I may meet in future, be it in work or army... So, is my ultimate patience with people will run low one day? Time won't tell exactly, but it very much depends on the kind of people I meet in future... I hope to meet some people that can bring me to greater heights, and my efforts I put in relentlessly can pay off one day.

This entry took me 2 weeks to type out, do U believe ? HaHaHa... Has been tied down by alot of stuff, dat's why. But looks like everyone is not updating his/her blog that frequent nowadays, hehee =X

Figurines Frenzy !!

Note: This entry is strictly for people who wants to know more about my figurines, or else please do not read! BEWARE! May be bored to death if not interested, heheehez~

As I did mention in the last entry, I am "venturing" (OOps, did I use the wrong word? haha...) into the collection of Marvel figurines, and I did something that I thought was impossible and I was in awe too... HaHaHa... I bought 13 figurines within one mth !!! Oh My God~~ but other than one of the figurines, the rest were bought after searching for the best offer both in shops and online... So, I did managed to grab the good deals and save money too... Woooo~ 13 figurines at 360 bucks in total lei !!!

$360 looks like a huge sum off my savings, every cent of it comes frm either what I earned or saved, this is the best part of it, Satisfaction =) Collecting figurines to me, was more than just buying some toys and admiring. It was a childhood dream I had since young. I din had alot of toys then, not to mention owning those luxurious toys, used to envy friends who own them. HaHaHa, so I am just realising my dream one by one. Remember "CCC"??? hahaha, anyway, for those in the dark, it stands for "Chuan's Charming Collectibles". Consisting of three collections currenty namely, "WWE", "Transformers" and "Marvel Heroes"... Of course, I do not collect all three sections at one go, but focus on one at a time, haha...

So which is the next set of figurines I shld start collecting?? DC SuperHeroes?? HaHa, I dunno either, however there are still a few more to the closure of my Marvel Collection, haha!!

Ok, back to reality, reason for typin this entry is due to 9 and a half hours of extreme boredom at work, HAHA~~ so loyal readers, thanks alot for reading!! I just managed to shake off half an hr typing this entry... Arghhh, 1 hour to go... tick tick tick~

*Tip-toe-ing into my blog* Wooo~ suddenly my blog looks like a ghost town with some determined explorers occassionally stepping in, not giving up hope on discovering updates... HaHa, alrite, time to reward them =) I noe I hav not update my blog in one month or so... Sorry abt that, guys and gals, I m back ! =D

Spent some time to recap my memory from where I left from.... and yes, I remembered something, wooo~!! Went to a KTV recommended by Kelvin at Bugis... it is called "Top One KTV"... It allows us to sing from 11am to 6pm at a rate of $16 nett if I m not wrong, and the songs are pretty updated wor... Besides, the room has alot of features to play with too, hahaha, and there are free flow of drinks, of course there aren't alot of choices for U, hahaha... but enough to quench ur thirst ba =) Personally, I m not very picky with the karaoke surrounding la, so long as I have a good mic and can get to exert my vocals out, I m satisfied le =D Here are some pictures of how the cosy room looks like:

Hmmmm... the next event I can think of is meeting up with Ben, who has been busy with his army peeps, given my time clash with him sometimes and he also looks cash-strapped at the moment... therefore meeting up with him to find things to do is really hard sometimes... Nevertheless, we still meet up as he had something for me as a birthday present... All are dried food he bought frm Malaysia, haha... thanks! So, on dat very day, I gave him some finger food as birthday present too, cos he wants something practical mah, LoL~! He should be glad that I didn't give him toilet papers as birthday gift la, WAHAHAHA~

Then, yesterday met up with Yida to witness his botak head, wooo, he still looks the same to me, hahaha... Went to have lunch at Hip Diner, and hear his recounts of army experiences, hahaha... then oso heard that he and Kelvin were in the same platoon, hahaha... woooo, Kelvin and Yida, hope u two can know each other better, anyway ur birthdays were close to each other, jus six days apart, hahaha~ Think you two have started to chat le and have said some bad things abt me, right? No wonder I was having alot of sneeze these few days la, HAHA~!! Ah~~~Choooo~~ Not again~! =D Anyway bought the last of the Transformers figurines I wanted yesterday, and started to look into Marvel figurines, so bought X-Men "Magneto" to kick off the collection, Wooo~~~ heard my wallet is crying... Sorry~~ HaHa, anyway Happy Youth Day to all ages if U still feel a tinge of youthfulness in U, haha...

My Wonderful 20th Birthday =)

The clock ticks 12am, it was "1st June 2008" le... Finally, I hit the age of 20 le, haha... a series of birthday greetings came in, haha, this moment is always so touched with at least someone remembering your birthday, not to mention alot, haha, and on my special day of this year, I got my special one to celebrate my birthday with me too... U are the one =) Thanks to my family for the feast they prepared =) My gf came to my house to celebrate my birthday with my family too. She even made a birthday card in the form of a jersey, and it is my favourite team, Liverpool leh !! Behind the jersey still got my name and my fav number leh =) Thanks, Estrella !! =D

My bro and my da-sao oso got bought something for me, a solar-powered shaking head owl, hahaha, really match me, cos I am like an owl, nocturnal, sleeps late at night... LoL, besides that they also got a card which has lots of conversations by cows in it, haha... thanks to Desmond and Doreen ! Here are them,

Yesterday went out with my poly gang, we returned our graduation robes and went to Clarke Quay for dinner at "Cafe Iguana". Kelvin managed to book the restaurant in advance as it was usually crowded at night. Thanks, Kel! Had some tortilla chips and its awesome dip while waiting for Shwa Juan's arrival, well, nothing was left for her when she came, HaHa...sorry abt that! We ordered our main courses minutes before Shwa Juan arrived. I ordered "BBQ Chicken Burritos".

Well, in terms of display, Kevin's order was the nicest, but I tink in terms of appetising, Kelvin and Shwa Juan ones rocks ! HaHa, mine is wrapped totally with BBQ chicken and butter rice in it. Not bad... HaHa, the Burritos skin is abit too thick though... prefer those thinner ones. After finishing our meals, just when I thought we are going to foot the bill oready, I saw a birthday cake making its way towards our table, then I know why I am asked by Kelvin to be sat at the center le, hahaha... and the disappearance of you guys at certain times too, HaHa~! I was completely in the dark lor, well done, hahaha, very touched sia...Sang birthday song for me, and still got the following items for me, haha...WoW (Click on the pix if you want a larger and clearer view =D)

They sort of "fulfilled" all the items in my blog wishlist, HAHAHA... my 1st wish is "Estrella to be Healthy and Happy", so Kelvin made two bottles of "pills" for me, haha... a bottle of "Vitamins" and a bottle of "Happy Pills", LoL... The pill is to be SWALLOW with plenty of water, of cos la...Mentos is so big, may even choke on it la, HaHa! The "Vitamins" need to eat wif plenty of frutis and vegetables to extract nutrients (???) from it, LoL... and the "Happy Pills" are to be consumed with the thoughts of SL and all his exotic hairstlyes, HaHaHa~ My 3rd wish is to learn piano, so they made a clear holder file of piano materials for me, hahaha, how thoughtful sia! My 4th wish is to have straight hair fringes, and they bought a Mickey Mouse comb for me, haha... and my 8th wish is to have more figurines. Kelvin made a personal figurine of ME, out of ice-cream sticks, HahaHa... nice one though, no articulations as Yong Sheng said, hmmm... haha...jus kidding la, Kel, I know your bad encounter with the super glue. And the card which everyone wrote their birthday wishes in it, and thanks to Yong Sheng for all the photos, haha, you noe how to pick sia =D

Alrite, thanks to everyone who make my birthday a wonderful and memorable one. This year birthday was really special for me, especially with my Estrella around and what my poly gang has done for me. I think I even has the most number of birthday greetings this year since I was 1 year old. LOL!!! Poly Grad Ceremony

Yesterday was the graduation ceremony from SP. Initially, meeting with Candy, Kevin and Yong Sheng first for lunch de, but give it a miss... Bought the SP tie first which doesn't looks nicer than the red color de, and still cost 9 dollars, they shld reduce the price. LoL. After buying the tie, wear the tie and wait for Kelvin, Shwa Juan, Daniel and Chris. They came and we tok some pre-ceremony photos. Haha...

Wear the robes and start entering the hall as our parents have went in le. My seating was far from most of the people I know, haha...the bad thing abt being a 'Yeo'...LoL... nobody to talk to, so bored. Shwa Juan is in front. Then saw Melissa, she's behind me, and Ting Ting two seats away from me. Hahaha, I wonder did my looks change overnight somehow? Ting Ting only recognise me after we've been seated for about 10 minutes, LoL. Then came Kelvin Yap, my year one friend. He was sitted beside me, and it also takes a while for him to recognise me, LOL ! The ceremony starts and one by one, we receive our scrolls, and ya, I heard U, Kel, hahaha, thanks for shouting my name, HAHA~ The presenter of the scroll was Dr. Timothy, my internship supervisor, so qiao... Took photos on the stage, wondering did I close my eyes? haha...

The ceremony ends and we went outside, carry on the endless photo shoots, haha... Surprisingly, me and Justin saw our Hua Yi Sec Sch's discipline master, Mr Soo, he came to visit those former Hua Yians who have graduated... so we took a photo with him for remembrance, but...he used his cam !!! I am not able to obtain that pic then...nvm, haha... Then while waiting for Kelvin to finish his photo shoots, me and Yong Sheng saw Adrian, wow, that's really another surprise! Haha, so glad to see him, and he was here to visit me and Yong Sheng, so honoured~ Haha... thanks, Adrian, for coming =) Hope everyone is doing well at SIP, especially Ken and Joanne~ =)

Then after the photo shoot, went to Clarke Quay for dinner in a "gang" of 10 people, scare mah? =X hahaha... Initially wanna go to "Cafe Iguana", but it was so packed, so we changed our location to "BreWertz", luckily they had seats for 10 of us. =) I ordered 'BBQ-ed Chicken', it was half a chicken with onion rings and salad. It was nice at first, but as you carry on biting, it just feels tiring and the food doesn't seems appealing after that le, haha~ Onion rings are not really nice, prefer "Burger King" type... Initially, had the thought of having a drink, but in the end, I was very full le and some of them also dun want to drink le, so leave Kelvin behind in Clarke Quay as he waits for Suraj to join him for a drink. Sorry, Kel !

3 years just passed like this, haha, glad that I became more independent and changed quite alot since from day one. I am also glad that I have did my best in my poly years, though academically, I may not be the best, but I am already contented le, couldn't have much to ask for. =) I admit that these three years may have been tough, without the help of my fellow poly mates, I couldn't have did better today. For year 1, mainly thanks to SQ for helping me out in programming. His willingness to help other weaker people earned my respect. HaHa... then went to BioInformatics option in the 2nd and final years, had to learn biology stuff, which I never even touch before in secondary school days... Wooo, that was really a difficult time, comprehending all the difficult terms, and not forgetting the assignments that were so stressful. I mean regardless of any modules, haha... Thanks Edward for providing help in times of emergencies, and for FYP, a BIG BIG thanks to Justin Chou Regent, my group leader for doing most of the hard tasks that the rest of us in the group couldn't do. That was an incredible feat, I must say... Though entering BioInformatics was a wrong choice made, but I still enjoy several moments with my clique , hahaha... the outings, the kbox sessions, the rush hour before submitting assignment etc... The great moments will be forever etched in my mind =) Hope to keep in contact with you guys and gals ! =)

Hahaha, then the most interesting part of my poly life would be internship, I know some of us din enjoy internship because of some factors. But I must say I am really fortunate to end up in a company that feels like a big family, and workload is also not as much as most of us, haha... Really miss the times and everyone in SIP =)

Transformers Autobot Jazz Review

Well, I was thinking of what to entertain you guys and gals, when I turn my head to my glass cabinet, hmmm~ was pondering why not I do a review on each of the transformers that I have bought...HaHa, I know alot of you will "sian yi ban" upon seeing this, hahaha, but at least I am updating, haha, not showing off la... just wanna do some review on it like some avid collectors do too, haha... so prepare to get bored =D

Description: If it's worth doing, it's worth doing with style, this is what JAZZ thinks... The coolest out of the Autobots. He rolls into battle against the Decepticons with slick moves and a banging sound system. There's no limit to his courage, and nothing he won't do to defend his Autobots. With his laser crescent cannon, he prepares to battle the Decepticons anytime at any cost.

Personal Review: JAZZ is OPTIMUS PRIME, the leader of the Autobots, right-hand man. I was fascinated by the crescent cannon attached to the vehicle when he was in vehicle mode. LoL...There are two versions of Jazz for this series. My version was the one with this big laser cannon, the other version was holding a smaller laser gun. Haha... The vehicle is a 'Pontiac Solstice' model. It is painted in silver color, some paint jobs can be done on the totally black wheel rims though, it would be cooler then. Transformation from vehicle mode to robot mode was easy, I didn't even need the instructions to do it, haha... In robot mode, it can stand on its own without any support and it has articulations on its knees and arms so that it can allow some posings to be done =D However, the arms are rigid, they cannot be rotated at some extreme angles, so giving JAZZ limited poses on his upper body. The laser crescent cannon is attached to his arm as his weapon, and nothing's wrong with the weapon, can launch the projectile quite a distance. The long laser cannon also requires some amount of space in some poses and it can cause instability to the whole figure if held up. Fortuantely, the feet can be adjusted to make it stable. =)

Newton MeetUp with Ben, Yida

Yo, guys and gals, erhhh, I have not been blogging since from... *thinking*, HaHaHa =X Here I am again, sorry to make those who are expecting to wait...heheehex

Meet up with Ben and Yida for dinner yesterday... Went to Newton Hawker Centre to eat... As usual Ben is punctual and Yida is super late due to remember wrong timing, dotx... I m getting used to it le, haha... so we went for a drink first and ordered a couple of side dishes like BBQ chicken wings and otah to quell our hunger while waiting for Mr Tan to come... LoL... heard Ben talking about how great is his KL trip dere, but he certainly didn't spend alot on clothes, ohhh....if only I go, I would have splurge like there is no tomorrow, HaHa... LoL, anyway GSS is here le, time to flash those notes and cards =D Heard that Sharon is the huge spender there, haha... well done, Sharon! =X hahaa...

Well, after chatting for quite some time, Mr Tan is finally here le! hahaha, order our main round of dinner at last, so these are what we have for dinner:

Bound home after that, with Ben "showing off" his 120++ earphones, hahaha...well, he is very picky abt sound quality, this is why he needs such luxury ba... Well, I think everyone sure has an area to splurge on ba... like how I splurge on figurines... LOL. There is no right or wrong on splurging as long as dat thing can make U happy and U hav a strong desire for it too... hahaha~ Spending is no guilt, as long you work harder and gain back what you lose, and most importantly, spend wisely =) No point keeping those money and desire for the stuffs you want badly and make urself miserable. =) But, do save up for rainy days, there are sure plenty of them too! HaHa...

No doubt cost is on the rise now for everything, but no point complaining about it, it wun makes any difference, haha, the world will not change for U, U change for the world, so learn to save more money and use them appropriately, like in GSS! heheehe...

robes rented, e2max new experience

Went out with Kelvin, Yong Sheng, Candy and Kevin again yesterday, this time round, really rented our graduation robes le. Had lunch at Mac earlier, and heard from Kel that the McGriddles is nice, slurps~ Haha, gonna try it soon =) Then, all the jokes from Kevin that secondary school students were looking at Candy and that student Harry, who was being joked around too...So ke-lian...LoL, Finally, the robes were rented le, and it was really heavy. But it wasn't so heavy that I couldn't move at all, at least...LoL, but it's gonna be so stuffy when you gonna wear it together with formal wear plus the SP tie...WoOoOo~ Anyway, lost my HP cushion at Potong Pasir, erhh....anyone happen to see a tiny cushion lying around in Potong Pasir, could you please return to its rightful owner (Me =D), Thanks !!! LoL

Went to town to them after that... while waiting for Chris, we went to play the "soccer". Erhh, I dun mean the real sport, but the soccer table game. Me and Kel won the first round, due to the opposition team, Yong Sheng and Kevin having a player less in their team. Thanks to the referee, Candy for constantly pushing the ball...Hahaha. Played pool with them, well, rusty skills I had, but Kevin played so well that one of the K-Pool guys challenged him to a game. tsk tsk, one mountain still got one mountain tall, haha, but Kevin came so close to beatting him.

Chris arrived, and we went to E2Max to rent and watch DVD, the total cost is near $24, which is splited among six persons, so it is cheap given more people. What's more, there are two comps in the room too to entertain Kevin, haha... while the rest watched the horror movie "Dead Silence"...Wooo~

We went to play a second round of "soccer" this time round...but Chris substituted Yong Sheng. Well, they won us, Sorry, Kel, I did my best *cries*...HAHAHA.. nice game anyway, play for the fun of it anyway... Went to have dinner at the basement food court. Saw Chen Han Wei, they had their weird cups of bubble tea, Kel went to look for a volleyball, and after which, bound for home...

Pre-GSS Warm-Up

Went out with Kelvin, Candy, Yong Sheng and Kevin, my poly mates, on Thursday. Had the initial plan to go to rent graduation robes. But nobody was aware that the shop closes on 2nd May... LoL, so postpone to coming Tuesday. So, not to waste the rest of the day, I followed them to have desserts in a shop in Chinatown...hmmm~ forget the name le =D Ate "Milk Pudding"... Then walked around Chinatown, as well as looking for the $10 karaoke at that area...Haha, found it at last, but all rooms were unavailable... Too bad~ So went to town and have buffet at Sakae Sushi, Wheelock... Spent quite a considerable amount of time dere, playing "Zhong Ji Mi Ma" with the leftovers and abit of orders too. Well, everyone had got a punishment at least, so everybody had a part in finishing the food =) Went off to meet up with my gf le, while they continued window shopping while waiting for Candy's bf, Chris, to show up. Ya, hope Chris is doing fine =) Haven seen him le since the chalet, haha...

Anyway, had a little "Pre-Great Singapore Sale" shopping spree in the period of April and May... Heheehex, all thanks to the earnings of relief teaching =X Bought four Polo tees, mainly from "Giordano", "Converse", "Recoil" and "Fila", haha, this is the end for now, but still got 3 more in my shortlist, waiting for GSS to come...Hahaha~! Oh oh~ tagboard is getting dusty, where's everyone? HaHa...I'm here to update my blog to revive the tagboard back to the days where it was so bustling with comments, HaHaHa...

Last Saturday, went out with Yida to Bugis and Orchard. I had the intentions to look for clothes, preferably polo tees, to replace a couple of oldies in my closet. Only bought one tee in the end, but I do target a $38 bag back at Bugis Village. Mainly also wanna catch up with long time no see's Yida, cos he's back frm the recent trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. Thanks for the bottle of jam ! =)

Then went out on Thurs with Friendtastic 4 (Including me!!). Have dinner at Waraku after a round of eliminations. HaHa, Kel aka "The Thing" (heheehex), sure has a penchant for good food. Fortunately, I am not his father, or else I could be bankrupt le...HAHAHA, jus joking~!!! Went to have a drink at a bar (bar name is in the pic, LOL). Me, "The Human Torch" and "The Thing" ordered the same kind of cocktails, 'Tequila Sunrise', and "The Invisible Woman" ordered 'Strawberry Magarita', which was sweeter and nicer. Ya, guys and gals, those who have not rent your graduation robes, haha, let's go and rent it soon. =)

Then, went to explore Fort Canning Park yesterday, which I last stepped foot on, I think 10 years ago, HAHA... Climbed a flight of stairs before reaching the top. Hmm~ saw married couples taking wedding photos and groups of tourists, not really crowded, a good place for meditation, LoL... Here's some pictures:

Monthly Anniversary Cards

Hey, guys and gals, hope you all are doing fine =) Just wanna displayed some special cards from my dear Estrella =)

The first official card she gave me is this, on our very first date:

It is letter macaronis on an ice-cream stick. They are dipped in red solution. I know it is not easy to make this because of the macaronis’ fragility and the letters tend to drop off from the wooden stick. Hard on her le...

The second card she made for me is for our 1st Month Anniversary. =)

The "haPPY 1st Month" words are her masterpiece. The material she used is coincidentally similar to the cats at the front of the card, and she claimed that she didn't noe until she finished it. HaHa...

Then, the recent 2nd Month Anniversary, she made me a card that put me in awe~ One card that I could never think of, and I also nv saw it before in any stores. She actually made a Scrabble card for me. =D Wow… Splendid idea there =)

This card takes alot of effort to come out with de, every steps require full concentration. Haha~ I was really so touched that she managed to squeeze out time and came out with this card. =)

Well, I wasn't boasting about the cards here, but I truly wanted to recognise her efforts with a sincere Thank You... Thanks alot, Estrella !!!

Xingnan Teaching Day 1

WoOoO...Went to Xingnan Primary School for the first time, for relief teaching. The very good thing is that it's just a minute walk from my house. The bad thing, there are alot of familiar faces, I mean parents, haha... But, there are no staffs in Xingnan that I know or see before, it will be good to have pple that you noe in a new environment.

Haha, their building interior was like a maze to me. Thankfully, all their classes are in order. And as primary schools, they are very direction-friendly de, cos there are signs everywhere for the primary school kids. It also serves first-timers like me well, LoL. The XNPS staffs were polite, not surprising as they are school teachers, but they will stare at you as if I hav a one-of-a-kind look in this world, HAHA... It seems like the same in every new environment.

Ok, the interesting part of relief teaching is probably the students ba. Their innocent and carefree mindset is what is missing in most of us as we grew up, especially in this realistic and stressful society. Seeing them often reminds me how I behave at their age, and how much I have changed since then. The kids are really straightforward de, they will tell u anything under the sun, that they liked u ar, you are funny ar, you are handsome ar or even something about their friends whom I even never seen before. Haha. And it is so much easier for them to recognise your face and your name. My name is even being joked about, "YoYo" la, "Mr You" la, etc. LoL. Controlling a class of kids is no easy task, imagine a joker can screw up the peace in a class, wad's more wif a few more in there. I still have much to learn about controlling them. But the best part of relief teaching is the smile they presented to you whenever they saw you. To me, it is very satisfying when I see pple smile. Haha.

Well, my first day at Xingnan had only 30 mins of rest. The rest of the noon was packed wif attending to the classes. Must learn to find joy in work even though was busy, cannot just work for the money earned. The money you wanna earn is the motivation and the joy in the process is the energy that sustains the motivation.

Three Kingdoms and RIbena Agar Agar

Hey, back for some minor updates. Went out on last Thurs evening to catch the "The Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon" with Goi Kiang, the graphics and scenes are not bad, but I feel that the stories are fast forward-ed too fast le. They could have made more sequels especially when there are so many histories of The Three Kingdoms. Andy Lau sure looks like very heroic in that movie, haha, and especially with that sharp and nice nose of his, so charismatic...Sammo Huang was acting as an extra in that movie, and according to what I know, there are no character that he acted as in that movie. LoL, he is more of a storyteller. Maggie Q is not even fit to be in this movie. I think she don't have the look of the people of the past, haha...as in her beauty is not those 古典美. However, I think the Guan Yu and Zhang Fei characters resemble the real more, HaHa... Overall, watch this movie if you have at least a little background of The Three Kingdoms, or else the movie will disappoint you greatly.

Went to East Coast Park with my girl on this recent Thursday. She made me agar agar in the middle of the previous night for me leh, *touched*, haha...and it's Ribena flavour with longan in each piece. Here's the picture:

Depressing Thoughts

Hi..LLo, to all people who has been expecting an entry out from this mouldy blog, I am here to pen my thoughts.

This March is known to be the month which I has least things to post about since I started blogging, partly because of few activities and I felt very cooped up in my own mind. Perhaps my mind tend to wander about when I have few activities. I know when you all saw the four words "few activities to do", the solution is "Go and find activities to do la". Don't need to repeat this anymore. This solution itself also poses a challenge to me too. Haiz~ Just feel very lousy at times, is it very different from the Chuan you all have known in real life right? I never wanted to expose this side of myself to you all, cos if I am behaving like this in front of you all, it will be very demoralising and nobody will like it.

So, what kind of thoughts are floating in my mind? Firstly, I really feel unproductive when till now, I still couldn't find a job even though many resumes have been delivered with no response. It's not that I need money badly, but then I dun want to slack my time away. Secondly, with NS around the corner, it's hard not to admit guys will feel sian-ed and worried, so do I. It's another phase of life, which all of us have heard many stories about it le, but yet to go through it. Thirdly, driving lessons itselves has taken a toll on me as well. The last lesson has been really bad, I know I am a slow learner and when it comes to hands-on stuffs, I know where I stands. It's even worse when so much money has been spent, and yet, the results are not impressive. Fourthly, I am not able to join u all to go abroad to M'sia. It is worst that I have been even approached three times by different groups of friends. It's ok if I din get to go, but I dun want to pull down the whole trip just because of my influence. But I am glad that all three groups are still going. Enjoy the trip, guys and gals...

There are of course more worrying thoughts, but dun want to bring them up anymore liao. All these thoughts I have summed up a few conclusions. Perhaps I am afraid to be in a new environment ba... I'm not mentally prepared... I've not seen greater situations... Whatever it is, all the problems only comes from a source, Me.

Back....1st Anniversary Gift

Hey, guys and gals, I'm back...life has been kind of bored these few days, therefore I didn't have any entries to entertain you all, sorry about that, hope you all do visit my blog and tag me even if there are no entries, THANKS !!!

Went out on Sunday with Ben to shop... I know it's hard for him to be able to book out from camp , so when he can come out, I wun neglect this best friend of mine de =)

Anyway ate lunch at the restaurant he recommended, "Changing Appetite" at Marina Square. Ate a jummbo chicken burger that nearly stuffed me to death, reminds me of Carl Junior's burgers though, haha...the patty was nice but not the bread. And we also ordered one side dish of fried onions. That was the best =D anyway here are some photos of what I have eaten,

Anyway this coming 24thMarch is his sister, Xue Qi's 13th birthday...so bought a HP "furry furry pink pink" accessory for her, hope ur sis liked it, Ben... Happy Birhtday, Xue Qi =)

Then, went to shop around for my 1st month anniversary gift for E...Then saw one HP accessory, which is a pair of little cushions at Mini Toons. Nearly bought it le, but think again, she may not like. So I hesitate and didn't buy.

Then Monday, when I meet her and when we exchanged gifts, she actually bought that similar little cushions I saw back at Mini Toons...What a coincidence~ haha...here are the gifts she have for me =)

Changi Terminal 3

Went to Changi Terminal 3 yesterday. Yeah, it was big and spacious, spacious to a extent of being too empty...

Most of the shops were inside the gate, therefore it means you need an airticket to venture furthur into more shops... I think only 80% of the shops are found in there. There were more eateries than others within the 20% of the shops that we can walk. So within 20 mins, we have explored every parts of the majestic Terminal 3. Haha... This is the only thing that will remind me of Changi Terminal 3...

Bye, I had to catch my flight to Los Angeles le...Oh my God, the SQ 38 flight's gate is closing..ArgHhh!!! Bye !

Absence of 6 days activites

Hi..LLo, apologised for my few days of absence, haha...here is a short entry of the events during this absence of 6 days...

Went out with E on the 2nd of March, dinner at "New York New York" and a stroll followed by a long nice sit around the Esplanade...then took a demoralising driving lesson at BBDC on the 4th of March(dun ask me why...I wun entertain), saw my god-Biao Jie with her boyfriend boarding the train and also saw former sec sch handsome guy, Stanley in the train on my way to BBDC...the rest of the days, nothing really happened and was bored...Today went to NAPFA test and fail, haha, as expected... Later will be going out in the evening, that's all, folks =D

Hope my life would be more dramatic so that I can have something to write and, you guys and gals can have something to tag too ! =)

Anyway, haha, as of request, Miss Audrey Tan Xin Yu wanted me to announce that she is my god-sister. Actually she already is le, but was kept in the dark, till now, heheex...btw she was just attached, LoL, was happy for this god-sis of mine...Audrey, wish u all the best in your r/s with ur bf =)

3rd Date, 1st movie with E =)

As we marched into March, the Leap Year day has passed us. Yesternite, went out with E to catch the "The Leap Years" show, so as to make this Leap Year day a memorable day for us. Nearly miss the show, as the cinema was nearly packed le, thanks to Miss Anonymous for helping us to booked the tickets via Internet Booking earlier. If only I have a credit card, I won't have to trouble her le, haha...

Watched at Vivo...Had no choice but to sit at the front rows...Ok, time to give an evaluation for this movie. Li-Ann, one of the main characters of this movie. When she was small, in her schooling days, she went to a fortune teller. She was told that her dream lover will pass by her like a wind, and patience is the key for her. Ever since, she has been looking forward to the day her lover will appear in front of her.

Then on her 6th brithday, which means she turns 24 yrs old (her birthday falls on a Leap Year day), she happened to saw a guy who played with little windmills in a cafe, called "The Windows Cafe". She then was reminded of the fortune teller message..."Wind"...and also an Irish folklore, saying that "On every Leap Year day, if a girl proposed to a guy, the guy cannot reject or else he will be fined." So, she intend to give it a try, secretly passing a note to this guy and asked that guy whom she saw, to turn up in the night at "The Windows Cafe".

During the night, that guy, named Jeremy, really turned up. He wanted to see which lady is so poetic and romantic. Li-Ann turned up as promise. They spent the whole night meaningfully (Shall not disclose what happended in that night, go watch the movie!! heheex). Jeremy needs to leave SG that night le, so he and Li-Ann made a promise, that is to meet on every 29thFebruary. They made a pact and parted each other.

On the next Leap Year day... ... ... ... ...Thought I was going to continue the story-telling, heheheez, perhaps it's time I should take a rest and let the movie do the talking, Go watch it, it's worthwhile, especially for couples =) and those who love romance. FYI, it's a happy ending...haha

There are many meaningful lines in the movie itself. But one line that I still remembered vividly is "The word that appears in love letters the most is not 'love', but 'miss'." So meaningful sia... For a couple of moments, Li-Ann in the movie, reminds me of someone, someone who is strong on the outside, soft in the inside and don't like surprises, OOps, heheehex~

Had ice-cream at Haagen Daz after the movie. Thanks to Miss Anonymous again, for giving us the voucher. Thank you =) Btw for those who haven't seen E, you all have been expecting how E looks like right? Hahaha, here is it:

I think I have went to kbox four times liao for this month alone, OOps, heheex! Have to cater to different groups of singing pals and of crse, my E =) Anyway, I still enjoyed every singing session because I get to witness the different singing styles in my friends, and can learn a thing or two from them, haha...

Let me evaluate about the previous k-session with Ben, Yin Boon, Sharon and Jesslyn first cos I think dat time I was too tired to post le, sorry abt that, guys and gals, haha...

Ben~~~Still sing songs in a monotonous tone, but he is still the best at singing Zhang Dong Liang's songs, keep it up, and mabbe u can consider trying A-Du songs, hahaha...

Yin Boon~~~Still sing very softly, luckily I have sensitive ears, hahaha...singing voice is sweet la. I like the way how you, Sharon and Ben sang S.H.E. songs especially, try to tune up your volume, it would sounds even better, Haha...

Sharon~~~Wow, she's the pro of this grp. Hahaha, her "Stefanie Sun" singing voice is still there...Can't detect any flaws in her leh, hahaha, she's adaptable to any kind of songs, haha...and I noticed the Chinese songs she like to sing mostly have a few verse of English lines in it de...HaHaHa

Jesslyn~~~Her voice is still as young, no change from the last time I heard from her in Sec 2...hahaha...She can sing de, mabbe too shy ba? never hear her sing much, so can't giv a more precise evaluation, haha, paiseh'

Ok, went to k-lunch with Yida, Pei Sing and Ivan today. Though time is short, I managed to sing my songs, especially THANKS to yida who helped me select most of the songs today, HAHA~ All the songs are dedicated to E de, hope she appreciates, heheex...

Yida~~~ still likes his fav Mayday and F.I.R. songs...and he is gifted in helping people to 配音, and he knows when to do that to make the whole song sounds natural. Haha, well done! He also likes to sing the songs in a low tone, and claimed that he will make my singing voice sounds more obvious, issit? I din realise dat until today, HAHAHA, thanks for the effort..LoL

Pei Sing~~~ the pro of this grp. She has a cute voice, very suitable for Zhuo Wen Xuan's songs and some of Angela's cutey songs too..hahaha, nevertheless, her Chinese is still splendid la...hardly or I think never mispronounce a word, Hahaha. She has improved in the coordination of her singing voice with mine in singing duets, haha, can see the efforts dere =) Also envy her never-ending stamina in quick songs...

Ivan~~~ wow, this guy, if any of you think that my singing voice is high pitch already, you should listen to his...tsk tsk tsk, Warning: Ear drums may burst...Hahaha...He can sing a duet song by himself, this shows how fast and good he can swop his voices...Cool~

hahaha, that's all, wait~~Erhh...do i miss out anyone to evaluate? orh...orh, orh, I haven evaluate myself, HAHAHA, mine arh, very simple to evaluate de...Still a failure at raps and quick songs...heheex, that's all !

This is a random entry, rarely I will post random entry de, but I wanna find a place to express my feelings...

Anyway, with March coming soon and still haven't find a job, I feel very stressed inside me these few days. I feel unproductive and wasting my time...

Beside this, all these years, I always have a thought inside me that I am incapable of alot of things...at this age (I know I sounds old, heheez), I still don't know alot of things that people find it easy to do (I shall not elaborate what are those things, heheez). Moreover, I know I am lousy at most sports and games, all the entertainment stuffs, never seems to do well at them before, and what's more, I have a slow learning pace. Haiz~ Sometimes I will wonder what are my strengths? I am also in doubt...

All these feelings have been bottled up inside me for lots of years le, and I thought I can still control them, but eventually, they were still released.

I will not bow down to stress and incapabilities. As a guy, I cannot be a weakling and get depressed over such matters easily. I will conquer the stress. I will make sure that at least half of my incapabilities right now will turn into my strengths one day.

Wowww...feels so good nw...I have gotten over it le =) I shall be full of confidence from now on, depressing thoughts will only motivate me more. =) Ok, that's all, this post is just for randomness, and dun require tags, Thanks for whoever is concerned abt me ! =)

Today went out wif E =) We went to Botanic Garden to relax... Played some mini-games then, and really enjoyed the few 'old-school' games that we long time never played le, especially Scrabble, hahaha...Mabbe I enjoyed the time when we were together ba, no matter what we are doing =D

Anyway, she made me Sushi. So sweet!! First time a girl make food for me, ^*Bliss*^, haha...

Not bad la...given her first attempt...I enjoyed them, Thanks, E ! Walked around after spending hours at dere... and we really walked alot, LoL !!!

Estrella make me weep =DD

Yesterday marked an important day in my calendar from now on. "17thFeb2008" is etched in my mind already =) Well, for those still in the dark, I have my first date in my 19+ years of life and it was so sweet. E was my date partner =)

Gave her a pot of Tulips I made myself, though it's not real flowers, it will still need air (her breath), sunlight (her shining smile) and water (her tears) to survive. =)

We went to sing today as I wanna witness how E sings too !! She impressed me with her A-Mei songs. She has a strong voice. There were other nice songs sang by her too, especially 傻瓜. And we sang a few duets too...and today I found out that her voice is the most matching to sing 被风吹过的夏天 with me de among all my female k-pals =)

After karaoke, we went to Pastamania to have dinner because she loves pasta. It's my treat as a gentlemen, haha. Then we decided to take bus 174 home, instead of train. Gives me the chance and time to know more about her, heheheex..

After reaching Boon Lay, I walked E home. Then, when we were about to reach her block, she give me a real surprise!! She has actually got a Valentine's present for me, so sweet~! And I had no present prepared for her yet, so paiseh...Sorry, E ! Haha, I will get one for U soon =)

Btw, this is how the present looks like, haha, she tied the ribbon herself de leh, so nice~!

She is really very thoughtful. The present, the card...It motivates me to work harder and make sure she will be happy, no matter how much sacrifice I has to go through. No Sacrifice, No Gain ! =)

2008 Chalet

Spent 4 days of chalet with my poly peeps, and I live to tell the story, HAHAHAHA, sounds like the chalet is a tragedy, Choy !!!

During the first day, me, Kel, and Candy spent our afternoon at Kel's hse doing the Uni applications. After settling the Uni applications, I had less stress that something is undone yet, Wowwww~ Hahaha. Then, we three fellows took a cab and fetch Daniel along who has waited very long for us at White Sands, Sorry, Daniel! Hahaha... Reach our chalet and played "BlackJack", then advanced to Tampines Interchange to meet up with Kevin and YS. Had dinner at "VienThai" at Tampines Mall. Then went to rent a few DVDs so that we can watch in the chalet. Buy tidbits and instant noodles after that. Went to Kel's hse to carry more stuffs over to chalet, and Kel's parents were very helpful, thanks, Kel PaPa and Kel MaMa ! heheez~ Spent the night watching TV while Kel, Candy, Kevin and Daniel played mahjong. It was bored, luckily they want me to cook noodles for them, or else I would have dozed off le, Haha. Anyway, Sorry if my noodles were sub-standard =D Slept at arnd 5am.

During the second day, wake up at 11am, had lunch at Changi Village area. Then Candy went off for her job interview and fetch her boyfriend, Chris along as well. The rest of us then deal with BBQ food, while some watch "The Saw ??" and "Meet the Spartans". Wen Jen then joined us in the late noon. As the evening drew near, Daniel and Kevin set up the fire while me and the rest BBQed the food. Justin, Candy, Chris and SJ joined us when the BBQ was about to start. Spent the whole night chatting and BBQ-ing as well. Played "ClueDo" with Kel, Kevin, Daniel and SJ in the late night. Also played "BlackJack" with Daniel, YS, SJ and Kevin, losers do pumping, poor Keivn and Daniel doing lots of pumpings, haha, but guessed their muscles are the most developed ones ba. Haha, slept at 5am too....Hahaha

Woke up at arnd 11-12 the next day. Had lunch at SubWay. Went to the nearby beach to enjoy the breeze and walked around. Find seashells and use sticks to draw on the sand. Ya, I drew this secretly while others were not watching, heheex, here is it:

Played "猫来了" and "007" at the beach then, till late noon, then go and fetch CJ and stroll back to our chalet to start our 2nd round of BBQ-ing. Then in the night, the highest peak of the chalet came, Waterbombs, YaY !!! Hahaha...I really enjoyed it, dunno if you guys enjoyed it though, Hahaha...The first round, we played "007" and the loser had to be thrown waterbombs by the two persons beside him/her. The second round was much easier. Just "Scissor-Paper-Stone" and same, loser get "bombed" at. Hahaha...everyone had their share of the waterbombs, so it's fair...and ya, I think this game is a good chance to vent ur anger on people who pissed u in the past, heheehe~ Watch DVDs in the night. Sleep at arnd 5am too...haha, Kel stay awaked throughout the night to guard us, HAHAHA, jus kiddin'...

The next morning, we packed up and left the chalet for home. Four days of chalet just ended this way. It was great, having your friends around you, enjoying. A mass gathering is not always easy, therefore I always cherish what I have now. Thanks Kel for organising this chalet, I know it wasn't easy and thanks all of you for making this chalet memorable. =)
