Busy Exploring a new gadget

Yay!!!!! I just got a new gadget days ago, it's W960i, an upgrade from my beloved W810i which has served me well 1 year++. It's time for "her" to move on~ As for any new products that Mr Chuan owns, it is an honour for me to write a short review on its pro and cons, here are them,
Model: Sony Ericsson W960i
Cost: $348 (I paid $200, the rest being sponsored =D)
Pros:
1) 8GB memory (coincidentally Similar to my iPod Touch)
2) Touchscreen (coincidentally Similar to my iPod Touch AGAIN)
3) WiFi (coincidentally Similar to my iPod Touch AGAIN AGAIN)
4) Walkman has more features (Eg. Mood playlist etc.)
5) 3.2MP camera (can take better Photos now!)
6) has Eng/Chinese dictionary (able to brush up on my language =D)
7) has Lunar Calendar (can see when it's 初一 and 初十五, haha)
8) Recognise handwriting (provided you have nice handwriting, OOps)
8) has "Task Manager" like in Windows (can switch between tasks easily)
and many more features unexplored yet!Cons:
1) Difficult to use finger on touchscreen (thankfully got stylus =D)
2) PhotoLight is just for camera (Arghh!!! No more LED torch light!!!)
3) not as User-friendly as other SE phones (took me 3 days to explore)
4) Wider phone due to wider screen (nearly can't squeeze into my pouch, OOps)

Last day at SIP =( and =)

I knew this day will eventually comes, the last day, the end of all the good and memorable times spent in Startin' Point...To me, this internship period has been a wonderful time for me, nice colleagues, workload not that heavy and most importantly, a good and 'cin-cai' supervisor, what life could be more enjoyable for an intern like me?
Being an intern really feels that you are at the top of the world sometimes, you won't be exposed to the very important projects, the boss won't have higher expectations as what they set for the permanent employees and at the same time, you can have a feel of working, instead of schooling. Most importantly, you get to make more friends and get useful advices from those who are already in the workforce.
Anyway, I have given my "Thank You" cards to all my colleagues le, and say what I have to say le, thanking them in whatever way they have aid me during the internship, be it helping me out during difficulties or just entertaining me, I really appreciate them and will remember them in my heart. Btw, me and Yong Sheng bought a bouquet of flowers for Joanne, my Startin' Point God-Mum, she was so happy and touched, because no interns before us have given her anything, and she loves flowers, like most women do...Heheehez, this is a photo of her which I took today holding the flowers:

iPod Touch...I am touched !

I AM BACK !!! Sorry for the few days absence ! Haha, anyway I came back because I found out that my tagboard is getting more and more inactive, sort of jealous of SJ tagboard too, hahaha, LoL. Well, my tagboard was not completely lifeless, there were abit of activities too...Mr lk spreading rumours around (anyway, for those who dunno wad 'lk' stands for, it is short for 'lame king') and also, a Miss Anonymous, who claimed that she loves me, dunno whether it's true or not, HAHAHA...well, she dun want her name to be revealed, so all of u, except YS who knew her too, will be kept in the dark, perhaps forever ba...Heheehez
Well, this post is to dedicate to my latest gadget, iPod Touch (sorry for not supporting you, 'Creative'). Well, this few days, I had been exploring it, and trying ways to make full use of it. Besides, I still have to spare 3 hrs for singing (at home!) daily so that I can maintain my vocal at its peak and also pick up new songs, this is why I put 'Busy' during nighttime in MSN, HAHAHA...Ok, not to drift further, I shall give an evaluation of my iPod Touch now.
Cost: $498 (iPod Touch 8GB + Power Adapter)
$49 (iPod Touch Belkin Pouch + Screen Protector)
Total: $547 (dun be suspicious abt where the money comes from, I save them painstakingly)
Pros: 1) Wi-Fi really rawkks !
2) Screen is wide enough for videos pleasure
3) The easiest medium to watch Youtube for me now =D
4) The zoom-in, zoom-out and auto-rotating features put u in awe !
5) Supports multi-tasking
(Imagine listenig to ur MP3 and surfing the net) 6) User-Friendly, Very~
7) Battery is quite lasting
(if Wi-Fi isn't on, heheez~) 8) Slim and sleek
(More portable, as compared to Creative Zen Vision W) 9) Got mirror behind
(Can see if ur hair is messy, HAHAHA!)Cons: 1) No voice recorder
(Argh...all iPods seem to lack this) 2) No speaker
(Nvm, my W810i will make up for it =D) 3) No other video formats except MP4 and 3GP
(luckily found a FREE universal video convertor) 4) Too expensive to lose it
(felt insecure whenever I brought it out) 5) Don't have Flash Player !!!
(worst flaw of iPod Touch)Alrite, this shall summarizes my feelings for my latest gadget, overall, I think I am fortunate to be able to enjoy this form of luxury...and ~~ getting more insecure as there are more valuables around me now, HAHAHA !

Limousine spotted + HER is back

If you all have read the TODAY newspaper today, you would have read a small section saying that a limousine will be available in Singapore for booking. The package stated 1 hr for S$350, a champagne will be included. Haha, luxury comfort...Never bother much, anyway I won't spend this money just for an hour ride, unless it's with someone special., heehex.
Unexpectedly, the minute I and Yong Sheng stepped out of our building, China Square Central, the limousine was just metres away from us. OMG ! I know I sound "shua-gu" but this is the 2nd time I saw a limo in reality, the 1st time was 8 years back in Brisbane, Australia. Anyway I managed to snap a photo of it when it drove past us, this is the proof:
Anyway this morning, at work, I dunno why HER images keep flashing across my mind suddenly, every heart pain haunts me again, though the fact cannot be changed, but reality still hurts. Then, I was quite moody till noon... the pain always come especially when I saw something that reminds me of HER, Haiz~

SIP Karaoke

Last Friday, had kbox with SIP colleagues =DD Everyone was present, except Joy and Jun Hao. Jun Hao was the one who suggested this company gathering but didn't turn up, due to a severe cough and fever. Poor guy ! Or else the already much fun kbox would have been better !
Haha' The 'older' colleagues sang their oldies, while younger generation like me and Yong Sheng sang the recent latest hits. Only Ken, my supervisor, is able to sang a mixture of both, btw his voice sounds great too! (those deep and matured tone)...hahaha, this is what I still can't achieved...LoL...also admired Yong Sheng's knack for quick songs and rap, also something which I lacked! Heheex
First time heard Joanne's singing too...She was not nervous at all due to her multiple stage performances experiences, hahaha...and her voice was nice too! Ken had a fun time dancing wit her too, dance to the groove sia ! Hahaha~

OOps...I'm back, everyone !!! =D As promise, this post should be out on 2ndJan2008, but I have to keep everyone waiting cos I was busy and exhausted these couple of days. Haha, fortunately, I managed to shake it off and post this entry.
This entry is dedicated to my brother and my 'Da-Sao', who just got engaged on the first day of 2008. CONGRATULATIONS ! Wow, my brother has already taken the first step into marriage le, and I am still here, single and left on the shelf, perhaps with a discount. It's quite depressing to think of it, haha, but what can I do? It seems like no girls would fancy me, the most I can do is to admire couples. I can only get to see romance in the air, but can never get to taste it...Haiz~
Anyway, I shall elaborate on the details of my brother's engagement on that day. Left the house with him and took a cab to Doreen's(my Da-Sao) house. That day, I took an extra 10 mins more than usual to touch-up my hairdo in order to look in my best at such an important event, haha, my brother and Doreen have their own make-up artist, so need not fret about looking unpresentable. Indeed, they were gorgeous that day.
After a series of photo shoots at my Da-Sao house by me and her uncle, all of us set off for the solemnization ceremony at a restaurant at Centrepoint. They have already booked three tables for family members, grandparents and their friends. I am responsible for taking photos initially, but my 'high-tech' Ah-Gong brought his camcorder and insisted me to help him to film the whole solemnization ceremony. So I have another job to do, besides eating and phototaking, hahaha...
The solemnization took place and I finally managed to sit down for the meal. Heheex, my favourite was of course shark fins soup(Sorry, shark, had to sacrifice your fins for this happy occasion, you will be remembered =D). Most of the photos taken at the ceremony were by Zhi Wei, my brother's secondary school friend, a real expert photographer. So I need not fret over the photos which I took, if they look bad on my Sony camera, heheex...His photos will definitely be better, with better camera tools and skills =)
Shall just post 1 photo here...the rest will be found in my Friendster if they are presentable, heheez~

2008 New Year Eve Gathering

Yesternight 2008 New Year Eve was spend with Kelvin, Shwa Juan and Yong Sheng...the gathering of the Fantastic 4...Hahaha, I initially had plans with other friends, but have to reject them cos I didn't celebrate Christmas Eve with Fantastic 3 recently, so it's only fair =) Anyway, it has been long since we four are able to meet up, hahas..
We went to Hard Rock Cafe to have our dinner. We order a big plate of Nachos for a start, oh man, it was really big, haha, for me, the starter has already make me two-fifth-full...then came the main course, which I ordered "Cajun Chicken Sandwich" served with fries. Wow, that chicken patty was as hard as a rock, heheheez, juz kidding' LoL. That made me almost full, I gotta leave some space for beverage. I ordered "Chupa Chup Martini", don't get the wrong idea, there's no "Chupa Chup" lollipop in it...It's a mixture of martini, pineapple juice, orange juice and blah blah blah, I have forgotten the rest of the mixture, Heheheex
After dinner and a live band performance at Hard Rock, we make our way to Esplanade after a long discussion of where to have countdown or watch fireworks. Take some photos in the train on our way there. When we reach City Hall, we only had 20 mins to walk to Esplanade. The crowd was already there, as expected, it seems like 1/4 of the whole of Singapore were there, Haha, anyway we managed to find a good spot for viewing the fireworks, no block from huge trees and buildings, we are lucky =D People were already gearing up before the fireworks shot up into the sky, so not to mention the high spirits that liven up the night when the fireworks appeared. Hahaha, the Bangla were cheering as if they got drunk, that was a funny scene to see.
After the fireworks, we stroll here and there aimlessly, hoping to find some activites to do or find a way out. Alot of areas were already blocked. Many people seen lying around the buildings, give me a feeling they are being trapped, Hahaha~ In the end, we decided to bound for home.
Today, my brother and his girlfriend, Doreen are engaged for marriage. Haha, please tune in to my blog tomorrow if you wanna know more, because I am exhausted now, need a break, haha, ok...lastly, Happy New Year to everyone =DD
