Enjoying the 2007 Christmas Season

OOps, I know that I have not been updating my blog lately, heheex, pardon you all for reading the same old entries, heheeheez...
Ok, yesterday, I went to kbox (Ok, ok, I know you all must be thinking, "Haiz~ kbox again...", HaHaHa). But yesterday, it was with the company of Yida, Pearlyn and Joanna, we had our kbox session once in a blue moon de, and I was happy to be able to duet with Pearlyn especially, a singer in the making =D
Worked half day at SIP till 1pm yesterday. Received a FILA water bottle as a Christmas gift from my supervisor. Haha, it was unexpected though, thanks, Ken ! Drank Amy's treat, a cup of red wine, which tasted weird, not the same as the red wine I have previously tasted. Had a few pieces of expensive chocolates too, specially brought back to Singapore from Europe by Ryan, my boss, WoW !
Then at kbox, I think I sang the most number of duet songs with Pearlyn, among all kbox sessions. WoW, one word to describe it, "爽!", hahaha. Got to know a new friend too, Joanna, she is as friendly as Pearlyn when I first met her. This is the type of friend I would like to have, open and friendly. I hope I can meet more of this kind of people, it would make my life more happy. The ladies also did play an 'essential' role by creating all the actions when I sang the songs...the crying, the spraying of water, the hugging, WoW, it's Live exclusively, HAHAHA. Yida was busy becoming the photographer. LoL. Went to take neoprints after dinner to satisfy Pearlyn's craving. WoW, the neoprints still got glitter de lor, one of a kind =D More photos again, heheehex...Hang out at arcade afterwards, nearly kill yida with a basketball, OOps...Joanna was the pro here =D
Today, promise to hang out with Ben, since he can't book out on eve. Called yida to tag along since he long time never saw Ben le. Knowing that he DEFINITELY will be late, I tell him to join us in the noon, so that he can sleep longer. Ben is always punctual and yida is always very late, therefore they will clash, heheex... Had lunch at Carl's Junior, and saw a weird phenomenon took place, my fries moved by itself, WoWwWwW~ and formed a word like these:

Met yida at Far East Sq and I bought my belt there as well, finally...Haha...Yida had a Adidas 20% discount to use, so we went to Cineleisure's Adidas to contribute some money to the economy, HAHAHA. He bought a pair of socks and a pair of shoes, it's brown, thanks to the shop attendant and MY persuasions, heheex, OOps. Went to walk walk and check out the aldums at HMV. After that, off for dinner at Cafe Cartel at Plaza Sin'...ordered a set of varieties meant for 3 people, so it's just nice, also had dessert. In the end, each person only paid $14+, definitely worth it to indulge in such food.
Went to check out the latest pricing on the MP3 players in BEST Denki...Hmmm~ still can't decide between Creative and Samsung. Both had it's plus points and flaws. Will need to do more research and serious thinking before I spent off the rest of my precious earnings for November =)
Lastly, I would like to thanks the people for the Christmas presents and greetings, it makes my year special and memorable..."Thank You, Ese !!!" Photos of all presents will be posted soon =D

Pool-ing with GK + Shopping with YD

Hang out with Goi Kiang on Friday night to play pool in JEC. The giant claimed that he was a beginner, ok...then, he thrashed me badly...WoW, hahaha =D Either he had a natural talent in pool, Or my pool skills had deteoriated over the months. Anyway, losing wasn't a big deal to me, cos I always believe what really matters is to enjoy the process of any games, not the outcome. And I certainly enjoyed it.
Went out this noon with Yida to shop for his ext harddisk and long pants initially. Settled our lunch at Breecko Cafe (OOps...did I spell correctly?). This is what I have, the main dish was normal, nothing unique, but love the baked potato lots...WOooO...
First, we went to Sim Lim Square to hunt for the harddisk. After experiences of our previous trips there. we roughly know which stores offer the cheapest deal...Heheex, so it saves us the time to go around and compare prices. Yida got himself a 120GB harddisk in the end and it only costs him $105. But if he were to pay by NETS, it would be a dollar more, which after hearing that extra $1, he went all the way to Rochor Centre to withdraw money and pay by cash instead. Of course, I had to tagged along after failing to convince him how tiny is that $1 difference is. LoL
After spending a three-figure sum, he changed his mind to buy his pants another time. Ok, it's my turn. I went to hunt for the self-proclaimed "Wrestling God", JBL figurine to add to CCC collections. Paid a visit to ToyFrenz in Novena and ToyQuestz in Orchard, and found it effortlessly, a wrestling god is being drafted into CCC...YaYyYyY~, hehee, I know I sound childish though =D Yida then bought a leather bag priced at $42, but after bargaining, lowered to $40, to salvage his old torn bag which he is still carrying. I nearly buy myself a leather belt priced at $29.90, but didn't as my mind keeps reminding me that I have already spent $35, haha, next time~

Meeting 海豚 for the first time =D

Met Fish yesterday, and learnt that she prefer to be called "海豚"...can really see that she love dolphins, the tiny dolphins on her phone and her camera...Hahaha. She came from Negri Sembilan, Malaysia and this was her second meeting with Ben after 2 years, I tagged along to expand my friends' network =)
We brought her to Sentosa, to our dismay, it was raining all day. This kind of rainy weather had been going on these few days, we were actually mentally prepared for this situation, but never came up with a backup plan because I and Ben had no time to think of one. Actually, no idea too...heheex. The short morning was spent at Sentosa, seeking shelter, taking photos with our cameras and getting to know each other better. After hanging around, we decided to get out of a wet Sentosa for indoor activities.
Went to Vivo City and HarborFront Centre to walk walk to look for Ben's desired shoes and my latest need in my wishlist, a tumbler. 海豚 followed us aimlessly as she told us that she had nothing in mind to shop for. LoL...nothing caught our attention. Move to our next destination, Orchard.
We went there with a motive, to take neoprints, which I told Ben I would only take neoprints with girls around...heheex...dunno when will be the next time we meet 海豚 again, so neoprints will be the best medium to capture our memories. Went to Cathay Cine for 'photo-taking' session...Hahaha...After the first round of neoprints, I suddenly craved for another round of neoprints, HAHA, but at a different destination, so we went to Heeren for round two, the decorators were Ben and 海豚 cos I must really admit I'm lousy at decorating photos. Found out that 海豚 is good at free-hand drawing and inputting small decorations while Ben is good at inputting bolder things and choosing backgrounds...Well, we have the best of both worlds, I have nothing to complain, but to stand aside and admire their masterpeices =DD Spend the whole afternoon decorating neoprints, a good way to take up your time, Hahas.
[*NOTE: Neoprints will be shown as soon as I got hold of them...Wait patiently =D]
Have dinner at Billy Bombers...Both Ben and 海豚 had 'Ole Fish and Fires', I decided to go for something which I haven't try before, so I chose the 'Naked Gun Burger' (sounds funny...HAHAHA) with selective toppings. I go for the chicken burger since I can't take beef, picked ham, bacon and onion rings for the toppings. The burger was huge, of course not comparable to the Carl Jr's one, haha, but big enough to make me full. After the dinner, went to take photos of Orchard with the festive mood of Christmas, which is around the corner. Taken lots of photos of her as she requested.
海豚 wanted to go to the Esplanade to take photos of the 'durians' at night. Hahaha, so we brought her there to fulfill her wish. Taken lots of photos too, but fewer than we have taken at Orchard, Heheez. Hahaha...we parted our ways and went home after that, looking forward to our next gathering...It could be next year or never, who knows? =)
ok, 海豚, she is definitely an active girl and VERY open-minded too...Like to laugh, someone who will cheer your day up. Haha, but I noticed she do have moments of silence at times, seems to be in deep thoughts, perhaps worrying about something...Mabbe her spontaneity is her false front, deep beneath, she could be hiding somethings she don't wanna reveal? All these are my own judgements only, I do hope what I felt is not true of her, overall, in my impression, she is a cheerful, cute and open girl. Worthy of being a friend =)

SJ found + First and Last kbox with China interns

Went to Orchard yesternight to have dinner with Kelvin, Daniel and SHWA JUAN...yes, you did not see wrongly, it's her, who has been rumoured being abducted by aliens...heheex...She finally joined us...after 2 months of disappearance =D
Went to Waraku for dinner Again, due to Kelvin and Daniel urge for Jap food, haha...I also, LoL. I didn't take any photos for this meal because the meal I had wasn't fanciful looking but I do have photo for the first meal I had at Waraku the other time...here is it, "Creamy and Cheesy Udon with Scallops"
Had lots of laugh at the meal, especially the part where Daniel said that Kelvin was so "yao-gui" that he even wanted to lick the mayonnaise on the long plate after the sushis were eaten. The way he demostrated the action was so hilarious. Hahahaz... Anyway I really laugh alot, I never laugh that much ever since after the rejection...

Met Patty, WenJing, their classmate back in China, Becky, and Yong Sheng for dinner. They suggested going to 大长今 at Geylang to have steamboat, I never went there before, so go ahead with their suggestion. The meal was so-so, so I don't wanna further elaborate on it. Glad to hear that WenJing was doing well at her new company, SIP seems to be lacking something these few days without her presence.
During the meal, they suggested going to k-box afterwards. Well, Chuan here couldn't possibly reject a karaoke invitation, rite? hahaha...so we went to Cathay Cineleisure k-box...Ok, time for these three ladies' singing evaluation...not bad, the best singer among them should be Becky due to her clear voice...for WenJing, she obviously like to sing Cyndi songs, hahaha, and Patty, who claimed that she couldn't sing well, was obviously telling a humble lie. Hmm~ Yong Sheng, I found out that his voice was especially suitable for Show songs, after having all the karaoke sessions with him so far, cool =D Anyway, thanks everyone for the compliments and applause, I really cherish them.

Chain of Bad News + Goodbye, WenJing ='(

Bad luck was in my way today...Firstly, I switched on my computer and an ulu one-line message "NTLDR was missing..." appeared on a black screen, my instinct told me that this is gonna be serious. I seeked help from my colleagues who had definitely seen more such ulu messages than I do...Jude and Jeffers came over..."Wahhh...tsk~" This is the first thing that I heard from Jude's mouth...well, things are really screwed up for my computer...My data in the computer were all gone, I didn't do any backup, but thankfully, most of the important stuff are safely kept in the server...Hahax. Took the whole morning to re-format my computer and re-install all the important softwares Again...haiz~ Anyway thanks to Double-J (Jude & Jeffers) for helping =)
Actually, I should have spend the morning burning data into empty CD-Rs and doing verification for them...All thanks to my computer which hogged half of my day AND Adrian, who is holding the CD-Rs, came in late. Ok..the string of bad news have not ended yet...
During lunchtime, I received another shocking news that one of our company interns, Jane aka WenJing, is leaving for another company and she will transferred over to there straightaway tomorrow. She was only in our company for about 1 month, and I think she has just settled down in our company, and now, she is leaving...OMG...and she was only given one day notice...Everyone was kinda surprised and shocked. No one expected this to happen, no one knows what is the real reason behind it. All I know that, WenJing accepted the transfer matter gracefully and has no objections about it, she didn't even sulk and was still smiling all the way this morning...when she leaves, she didn't even shed a tear...wOw, indeed a strong women...*Claps*...Haiz~ WenJing, we will miss you ! Wish you all the best in your new company =)
The whole noon was occupied by burning of data into the discs and verification of the data...the first disc was a faulty one and because of it, I thought that my CD drive is problematic, after the shadows of the computer crash in the morning...Arrghh~ Hahaha...thanks to Yong Sheng who helped me burned the discs =) It eased my workload as well.

Shopping List - Two down =DD

Went to Novena Square, Square 2 yesternight Again with Ben...Haha, It's not that I love to go there, but I promised to buy my "AnimaL" wallet once I got my pay...Well, the wait has finally pay off...Hahaha, moreover, there was a 10% discount going on...WOoHoO~ Just we were about to reach the shop, saw Sinyi and her boyfriend walked past us, haha, a sweet and loving couple, haiz~ Went to ToyFrenz and I was disappointed again, it was closed, where's the lady boss? She seems to have gone missing these few days. Had dinner at Ajisen Ramen...
Decided to post photo here, I gonna start this habit, starting from the first day of this month onwards, specially for people who like visual aid...hahaha
This morning, met Yida at IMM to lend him my digi camera for his project. Had lunch at LJS which I had not patronise for quite some while, haha, I think I had cut down fast food tremendously for the past few months, YEAH ! Before that, I had already cultivate some habits to aid me in my diet, firstly, was to drink only two cups of fizzy drink per month, I lost 3 kg after 2 months, very efficient~~hahaha, secondly, have supper once in a month, I hope to cultivate more healthy habits besides these three. Ok...not to drift further away, back to the topic, after that went to hunt for a tumbler and a earphone...None of the tumblers there has attracted my attention, but I found earphones that appeal to me. I was looking for those noise-cancellation type de...so I came down to two choices, one is the Sennheiser that costs $129, the other is my favourite brand, Sony, which was one-third of the Senn's price, $42. Given my current financial situation, I bid goodbye to the Senn's and welcome the Sony's. For Yida, he was looking for a external harddisk, isn't that what Ben wanted too? haha...what a coincidence!
